MOSCOW, August 18 - RAPSI, Maria Gusarova. Moscows District Court combined two claims filed by the People's Freedom Party (Parnas) against the Ministry of Justice for its refusal to register the party, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reports from the courtroom.

The court has set its hearing of the case for August 22.

With the decision, Judge Marina Musimovich satisfied the parties motions. She also ordered the parties to submit all documents required for the court to hear the case.

Vladimir Ryzhkov, one of Parnas leaders, earlier said that the Ministry of Justice refused to register Parnas based on five complaints against the party. However, Parnas lawyers argue that the Ministrys refusal to register the party has no valid bases.
