MOSCOW, August 18 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. The Voronezh Regional Commercial Court will review the Defense Ministrys claim of 7.19 billion ruble ($248.7 million) in debt from Polet Airlines, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency.

The ministry is seeking payments for renting An -124 aircraft operated by the carrier since 2000. The amount also includes penalties for the late aircrafts acceptance and return.

The judge decided to consider the ministrys two claims against the carrier - one for 490 million rubles and the other for over 6 billion rubles - within common proceedings.

Polet carries super-heavy and bulky cargo. It has made regular passenger flights since 2003.
