MOSCOW, August 31 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. The Russian Football Premier League and Rosgosstrakh insurance company have agreed to a settlement in a sponsorship dispute, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reports from the courtroom.

Rosgosstrakh sued the football league for 593.4 million rubles ($21.2 million) in spring. Its claim centered on its dissatisfaction with the leagues implementation during the national football cup tournament of a sponsorship agreement between the league and the insurance company. Rosgosstrakh has maintained that, amongst other contractual violations, the league failed to broadcast some games live on Channel One and Sports Channel.

The parties declined to answer whether the settlement was endorsed by the court, but noted that an official report on the settlement was to be released at a press conference on Wednesday.

Rosgosstrakh has 83 regional branches in Russia, comprising 3,000 agencies, insurance departments, and sales and service offices.
