MOSCOW, September 13 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. An appeals court has dismissed an appeal filed by the PRIME-TASS (renamed PRIME) business news agency against the courts adverse judgment in its lawsuit against the Moscow government, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The news agency sued the city government for classifying over 14,000 of its legal acts.

The Moscow Commercial Court dismissed PRIME's lawsuit on July 14, as a regular court heard a similar petition filed by the news agency against Moscow.

The claimant maintained that the Moscow government classified over 14,000 legal acts and thereby illegally banned access to information about its activities.

The Moscow government denied the charges.
