GORNO-ALTAISK, September 14 - RAPSI. The court dropped on Wednesday bankruptcy proceedings against a Siberian airport after its debt was repaid in full, an assistant judge told RIA Novosti.

In early August, Altaienergosbyt filed an appeal for the Gorno-Altaisk airport's bankruptcy with the republican commercial court. According to the company's management, the largest portion of the airport's debt composed the overdue liabilities of contractors renovating the airport.

The airport resumed operations in December following a 20-year hiatus. After its renovation is completed this year, it will serve medium-range aircraft and start flights to Moscow.

The airport will receive 496 million rubles ($17.7 million) for renovation under a targeted investment program in 2011.
