MOSCOW, September 15 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. A court will hear on October 3 an appeal filed by one of Russia's major insurance companies over its general director's employment agreement, the court told RAPSI.

The Moscow Commercial Court on July 14 held for Ingosstrakh's minority shareholders in their claim to revoke General Director Alexander Grigoriev's employment contract, which was approved by the insurance company's board of directors on March 9.

The insurance company appealed this decision. The case will now be heard by an appellate court.

Three companies, Vega, New Capital, and Investment Initiative, which cumulatively hold a 38-percent stake in the insurer, told RAPSI that they challenged the board decision to terminate Grigoriev's previous contract and approve his new employment contract.

Ingosstrakh has been operating since 1947 and is licensed to provide an entire range of insurance services. It operates offices in 200 cities and towns across Russia. It also has international branches and subsidiaries.
