MOSCOW, September 21 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. A court of appeals will hear on September 28 Baltiysky Zavod's appeal against the refusal to recover $39.01 million from the Finance Ministry and the Directorate of Sea Transport Development Programs' Public Customer, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the court on Wednesday.

Baltiysky Zavod is a part of the United Industrial Corporation owned by Senator Sergei Pugachyov. The factory builds icebreakers and military vessels. It manufactures a range of engineering products and energy equipment and supplies nonferrous and core-mold castings.

Baltiysky Zavod seeks to recover debts under a state contract on completing the 50 Years of Victory icebreaker, including the primary debt amounting to $31.16 million plus interest.

The Moscow Commercial Court dismissed the shipyard's lawsuit on June 20, as it could not provide the required documents to prove its claims.
