MOSCOW, September 22 - RAPSI. A court fined the Sky Express airline $1,000 for violating passengers rights, the Moscow transport prosecutor's office reported on Thursday.

Sky Express delayed numerous flights from Moscow's Vnukovo Airport in June, damaging many passengers. Prosecutors discovered that the airline violated the regulations on aircraft reservation and failed to arrange accommodation and food for its passengers when the flights were delayed.

The Moscow transport prosecutor's office opened an administrative case against the company.

The airline appealed the court decision. However, the appeals court upheld the lower court judgment.
