MOSCOW, September 22 - RAPSI, Natalya Belova. A commercial court recognized SV Group of Companies owning the Tehnosila trademark as bankrupt and opened six-month bankruptcy proceedings , the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the courtroom on Thursday.

SV Group of Companies was established by Vyacheslav and Viktor Zaytsev in 1993. Tehnosila, as part of the group, is the third most profitable chain selling electronic appliances after Eldorado and M.Video.

Olesya Shestakova was appointed the company's bankruptcy manager. The court set March 19, 2012, to hear her report.

It was initially planned to explore the possibility of dropping the issue since the company does not have funds to finance the bankruptcy proceedings. However one of the creditors gave his consent to provide finances.
