MOSCOW, September 28 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. A commercial court scheduled November 28 for its hearing of a Far Eastern construction company's lawsuit against major insurer for $33.5 million, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the courtroom.

The dispute is centered on the construction of the world's largest cable-stayed bridge across Zolotoy Rog Bay from Vladivostok to Russky Island for the APEC summit.

Dalmorstroy, as a project subcontractor, sued Sogaz insurance company to recover the amount payable for an insured event and the TMK bridge construction company, the prime contractor, to collect an amount underpaid for executed works. The court separated the lawsuit to TMK and referred it to a commercial court.

The claims to the insurer are based on the insurance policy between the codefendants under which Sogaz shall incur joint liability, argues the plaintiff.
