MOSCOW, November 9 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. A commercial court will hear on November 23 Domodedovo Airport Commercial Agency's lawsuit to hold Domodedovo Airlines General Director Sergei Yanovoi liable for $21.8 million in debts, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) on Wednesday.

Domodedovo Airlines used to be part of AiRUnion, which comprised KrasAir, Domodedovo Airlines, Samara, Omskavia and Sibaviatrans until 2008. On September 28, 2008, the alliance ceased to exist, as it owed $800 million for fuel and ground services.

The bankruptcy proceedings commenced at the airlines on February 27, 2008.

Earlier, the court shelved the hearing as the company's financial expert examination was held as part of the case.

In July 2009, the Moscow Region Commercial Court decided to launch bankruptcy procedures against the airlines, the Pokrovskiye Vorota company reported.

The Pokrovskiye Gates company was granted the authority to act as the airline's sole executive body.
