MOSCOW, December 21 - RAPSI. The police detained on Tuesday in Moscow an individual suspected of murdering the Kuwaiti Embassy secretary which in spring in Moscow, a source in the law enforcement authorities told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

Investigators believe that a suspect mixed azaleptinum into the drink of Alokaab Saleh Muhammed at a Moscow restaurant in April this year. This resulted in the death of the secretary. His body was found later on the same day.

Investigators say the suspect escaped the scene of the crime on Muhammed's Porsche Carrera which had diplomatic identification number. He later left the car. Investigation is now trying to establish the reasons behind the murder.

The Investigative Committee's Moscow department earlier told that the secretary's body was found in a Moscow street. Police could not immediately identify the body as he had no ID with him. It was further established that it was Kuwaiti Embassy Third Secretary Alokaab Saleh Muhammed.

It was reported that his death was caused by cardiovascular insufficiency.
