MOSCOW, December 22 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. A court has terminated the bankruptcy proceedings against Moskovia Airlines, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI /rapsinews.com).

The Moscow Regional Commercial Court decided to terminate the bankruptcy proceedings during a hearing on December 21. The full text of the judgment will be published later.

The court decided to drop the case after the Financial Leasing Company, a claimant in the case, filed a petition to withdraw its bankruptcy application on November 28.

According to the case records, the airline owes the claimant 47.3 million rubles ($1.5 million).

The court earlier dropped the bankruptcy proceedings against Moskovia, which were initiated upon its own request on August 12.
Established in 1995, Moskovia Airlines is based at Moscow's Domodedovo airport. It provides regular and charter passenger and cargo flights in Russia, as well as to other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
