MOSCOW, December 29 - RAPSI, Natalya Belova. The Supreme Commercial Court dismissed a petition filed by the state property management agency (Rosimushchestvo) to reconsider the dismissal of its lawsuit against the sale of historical Hotel Sovietsky in Moscow..

The Moscow government sold the Sovietsky Hotel, a building of historical significance, at the auction to the Sovietskaya Limited company for $63 million. The initial price amounted to $46 million.

Rosimushchestvo filed a lawsuit to invalidate the bid in February 2009. The Moscow Commercial Court held against the agency later in 2009 and the appellate court upheld the judgment. However the Moscow District Federal Commercial Court remanded the case for reconsideration. The case was then heard at three courts before it reached the Supreme Commercial Court.
