MOSCOW, January 18 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. A court postponed on Wednesday until February 29 its hearing of a defamation lawsuit filed by Glavmosstroy development company, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) reports from the courtroom.

Coordinator of the Public Coalition in Support of Moscow Roman Tkach is the defendant, a. Tkach alleged at a news conference in June that Moscow deputy mayor Vladimir Resin is the head of Glavmosstroy and that he signed a resolution in summer 2010 granting it half of the municipal housing construction orders in Moscow.

Glavmosstroy's lawyer earlier denied the allegations, stating that neither Resin signed such resolution nor the developer was granted orders. The lawyer also stated that Resin is a member of the Glavmosstroy board of directors representing Moscow government rather than the company head.

Glavmosstroy seeks to recover from Tkach a symbolic amount of 1 ruble (30 cents). Besides, the developer seeks the court to order the defendant to hold another news conference where he would refute the allegations.

Founded in 1954, Glavmosstroy is the general contractor engaged in civil engineering and construction. It is a part of Glavstroy Holding of which Oleg Deripaska's Basic Element is the head company.
