MOSCOW, February 7 - RAPSI. A coal supplier has notified the regional court about the withdrawal of its application for SUEK-Kuzbass' bankruptcy filed on January 30.

The court has not indicated the reason for the withdrawal.

Commercial courts are considering several disputes between coal supplier Kuzbassuglesbyt and SUEK.

An appellate court upheld in December a trial court's 6.7 million ruble ($222,000) award for the coal supplier under a slurry removal contract dated February 1, 2011, and 488,600 rubles ($16,000) in late payment penalties.

SUEK, Siberian Coal Energy Company, is Russia's largest coal company in terms of production. It accounts for about 30 percent of coal supplied to the domestic market and 25 percent of the Russian power-generating coal exports.
