MOSCOW, March 1 - RAPSI. The Moscow City Court's work was partially paralyzed on Thursday due to a bomb threat.

The main building was evacuated after an anonymous phone call. The buildings where appeals and administrative cases are considered continued working as usual, Anna Usachyova, the head of the courts press service, said.

The law enforcement authorities confirmed that the building was evacuated, without providing details.

The consideration of criminal cases in the court was suspended.

The hearings in the high-profile case of Vladimir Barsukov (Kumarin), the former vice president of the Petersburg Fuel Company, were held in the Moscow City Court on Thursday.

Barsukov (Kumarin) was detained in August 2007 under suspicions of organizing criminal group, fraud and money laundering.

Former attorney Dmitry Rafalovich is also involved in the case.
