MOSCOW, April 9 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. The Moscow Commercial Court has registered an action initiated on April 3 by former Transaero airlines shareholder Eskerkhan Mutalibov seeking $55 million.

Registrars Reestr and Computershare Registrar are involved as co-defendants.

The Russian Legal Information Agency has yet to reach the parties for comments.

According to Transaero shareholders list Mutalibov held five percent of shares in the airline as of May 2003, but he was not on the list prepared for the next annual shareholders' meeting in May 2004.

Transaero was established in 1990. It has a fleet of 76 aircraft, mostly Boeings. It operates flights to over 160 destinations in Russia, Europe, Asia, Americas and Africa. It carried 8.5 passengers in 2011.
