MOSCOW, May 5 - RAPSI. The criminal case against a suspect involved in central Moscow terrorist attack on New Year's Eve 2011 has been submitted to the court for consideration, reports the Prosecutor General's Office.

The case of Zeinap Suyunova will be heard at Moscow City Court.

Invetigators maintain that Suyunova was a member of an armed gang from Degestan. She arrived to Moscow with another would-be suicide bomber and stayed in a hotel on December 28, 2010. Another gang member supplied them with two improvised bombs which they allegedly planned to detonate on Red Square.

However, one of the bombs went off in the hotel killing one of the suspected terrorists. Suyunova quickly left Moscow, but was later detained by law enforcement authorities.

She is charged with gangsterism, an attempted terrorist attack, illegal acquisition, supply, storage and carrying of explosives and with illegal arms making.

Suyunova has entered into plea bargain and her criminal case was put aside for a separate trial.
