MOSCOW, May 14 - RAPSI. The Federal Antimonopoly Service fined the Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK) $17.7 million for abuse of position on the engineering services market, the watchdog reported on its web site on Monday.

The service has issued eight fines to the grid, each amounting to 66.6 million rubles ($2.2 million).

MOESK is Russia's largest transmission grid company, serving customers in Moscow and the Moscow region. It provides electricity transmission services to customers and as well as technological connections to electrical grids.
