MOSCOW, June 7 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. The Moscow Commercial Court has registered an application from Artyom Dolukhanyan, who seeks the insolvency of Lanta-Tur Voyage.

The application was submitted to the court on June 5 and the date for its hearing has yet to be set. The agency's representative did not state the amount the travel agency owes to the plaintiff.

Lanta-Tur Voyage, one of Russia's oldest travel agencies, folded on January 27 after Master-Bank, one of its primary shareholders, refused to grant it a 30 million ruble loan ($927,780) due to the company's unsatisfactory financial state. Over 3,000 of the companys clients were abroad at that time, many of whom met with difficulties when leaving their hotel.

Later, VTB Bank granted Lanta-Tur Voyage a five-year loan worth $7 million, which was used to pay the company's debts to the hotels, so that the tourists could return home.
