MOSCOW, July 9 - RAPSI. The Krasnoyarsk Territory Commercial Court has registered the application by the Yedintstvo (Unity) company from Irkutsk to recognize Boguchany Aluminium Smelter bankrupt, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency in court.

The Ninth Commercial Court of Appeals ruled in June to recover from the smelter 2.8 million rubles ($85,126) in favor of Yedinstvo in payment of debt for work carried out.
Rusal Krasnoyarsk's press service said in April that the Boguchany Aluminium Smelter will begin operations in March 2013 and that the capacity of the first starting complex will be 147,000 tons of aluminum a year.

The smelter is being constructed as part of the Boguchany Energy and Metallurgical Association. RusHydro and Rusal agreed on its joint implementation in May 2006. The planned capacity of the enterprise is expected to be 600,000 million tons of aluminum a year. It is due to start working at full capacity in 2015.
