VLADIVOSTOK, July 30 - RAPSI. A Primorye Territory court has found the leader of the Jehova's Witness Spassk-Dalny branch guilty of storing and distributing extremist literature, and has ordered the payment of a fine and the confiscation of the prohibited material, the Primorye Territory prosecutor's office announced.

According to the office, a warning had been issued to the overseer following a check into his work stating that any extremist activity is not permitted.

"Furthermore, the prosecutor's office initiated an administrative case for the distribution of extremist material. Following the court hearing, the overseer of the local Jehovah's Witness organization has been found guilty and sentenced to an administrative fine and the aforementioned material has been confiscated," the press release reads.
