MOSCOW, August 9 - RAPSI. Mikhail Khodorkovsky has submitted a formal request and a package of documents for a review of his second case to the Business Against Corruption Center of Public Procedures through his lawyer, as Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights Boris Titov advised him to do, Tatyana Marchenko told the Prime business news agency.

Khodorkovsky, who has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for oil theft and money laundering, had previously sent a letter to the commissioner asking him to review the sentence in the second case against him.

In his reply, Titov suggested Khodorkovsky submit an official request to the center. He assured Khodorkovsky that his work was based on an independent examination and stressed that the procedures are transparent.
