MOSCOW, August 10 - RAPSI. The Saratov Region Commercial Court registered an application by the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) on a six month extension for the bankruptcy procedure of WDB Bank, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) on Friday.

In March, the commercial court extended the term of the bankruptcy procedure until August 26.

The Central Bank revoked WDB Bank's license on May 7, 2009, for substantial reporting falsification, a reduction in the capital adequacy lower than 2 percent and its own capitalization falling below the required minimum.

The Central Bank later filed for WDB bankruptcy at Saratov Commercial Court which started hearings on June 18, 2009.

The Deposits Insurance Agency reported in September that the banks creditors register include 956 claims totaling 2.56 billion rubles ($80.78 million).
