MOSCOW, August 14 - RAPSI. Rosneft expects the case in Yukos Capital's lawsuit to continue in the High Court of Justice in London, the company told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) on Tuesday.

Yukos Capital is a former YUKOS subsidiary. According to Rosneft, Yukos Capital seeks $160 million in interest from the company in the High Court of Justice.

The court issued an interim decision in two preliminary issues, which it agreed to consider before passing a ruling in the lawsuit. Although the court resolved the issues in Yukos Capital's favor, it also provided Rosneft with the opportunity to appeal its decision.

On June 27, the court partially satisfied Rosneft's appeal, whose preliminary objections against Yukos Capital's lawsuit were dismissed.

The Luxemburg-registered Yukos Capital seeks the execution of a decision issued in 2006 by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's International Commercial Arbitration Court to recover 13 million rubles ($418 million) in Yuganskneftegaz debts under four loan agreements.

Rosneft is Yuganskneftagazs legal successor. It received the company after the sale of YUKOS assets.
