SARATOV, September 14 - RAPSI. The Saratov Region Commercial Court upheld the application of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) to extend the bankruptcy procedure of WDB Bank until February 26, 2013, the courts spokesperson told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) on Friday.

The Central Bank revoked WDB Bank's license on May 7, 2009 for substantial falsification of its reports, a reduction in the capital adequacy lower than 2 percent and its own capitalization falling below the required minimum.

In March, the commercial court extended the term of the bankruptcy procedure until August 26.

The Central Bank later filed for WDB's bankruptcy at Saratov Commercial Court, which started hearings on June 18, 2009.

The Deposit Insurance Agency reported in September that the banks register of creditors includes 956 claims totaling 2.56 billion rubles ($82.5 million).
