MOSCOW, October 10 - RAPSI. The Magistrate's Court No. 369 in Moscow has deprived a wedding guest who was detained for shooting a non-lethal weapon in the capital of his gun license for one year, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) on Tuesday.

The man was riding in a wedding procession led by a Ferrari followed by other luxury vehicles, Gazeta.Ru reported. The cars blocked traffic, while some passengers began firing into the air. The wedding party members justified his actions, claiming it is a Dagestani cultural tradition.

The shooter has already been arrested for 15 days for disorderly conduct. Another guest who resisted police has been placed under five-day arrest.

Murat Agalarov, a business analyst working for a Moscow company, has denied the charges of breaking gun handling regulations in court on Wednesday.

It follows from the police report that his non-lethal gun was unloaded and kept in the cars glove compartment. By law, the gun must be kept in a holster.

Agalarov insisted that he carries the gun in a holster and keeps it in a metal box at home.
