MOSCOW, October 17 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has ordered Tatishchevo Logistics Park to pay AMT Bank $50.7 million, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) Tuesday.

The lawsuit centers on a 2008 loan agreement. Previously the court ruled Tatishchevo should pay $71.178 million in debt.

On Tuesday, 800 million rubles ($25.8 million) were recovered in principal debt, 722 million rubles ($23.3 million) in interest and 45 million rubles ($1.45 million) in penalties.

Eurasia Logistic is owned by Kazakh businessman Mukhtar Ablyazov and the Tatishchevo Logistics Park, a shipping company with its own terminal, is one of its projects. Eurasia Logistic develops industrial facilities in the former Soviet Union and is part of the Eurasia investment and industrial group. It has been running Class A industrial complex projects since 2005.

AMT Bank (previously known as BTA Bank) is a multipurpose financial institution with nine branches, 22 supplementary offices and four operations offices.

AMT's website states that Ablyazov directly owns 19.7 percent of the bank. Ablyazov has been living in the United Kingdom since 2009.
The police opened a criminal case against him on suspicion of fraud and withdrawal of funds via shell companies.
