MOSCOW, May 31 (RAPSI) - Deputy Prosecutor General Viktor Grin has endorsed the indictment in a case of a large shipment of drugs and psychotropic substances to Russia from the Netherlands, the Prosecutor General's Office reports on Friday.

According to the investigators, Jonas Gudelevicius, a Lithuanian national, as well as two Russians, Alexander Avni and Artyom Aleksandrov, organized the import of a large batch of drugs, including hashish, marijuana and amphetamines, from the Netherlands via Lithuania and Belarus.

The drugs were sold in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region and the Moscow Region. The police confiscated tens of kilos of drugs from the dealers. A fake Russian passport was found on Gudelevicius.

The three individuals face up to 15 years in prison on charges of "preparation of drug trafficking," "organizing the illegal production, sale or shipment or drugs and psychotropic substances," and "forging or selling documents."
