MOSCOW, February 3 (RAPSI) – Jurors on Monday watched the video from Anna Politkovskaya's apartment block's camera showing the killer of the journalist, RAPSI reports from the Moscow City Court.

According to the videotape, the offender has called at the house minutes before Politkovskaya and went out immediately after killing. However, the murderer's face was not seen. The killer in a baseball cap confidently entered the building. The camera fixed that the killer came there three times including the day of the murder.

Moreover, two Politkovskaya's neighbors who had found her body and called the police and ambulance were questioned in court on Monday.

Novaya Gazeta newspaper journalist Politkovskaya was shot and killed in her apartment building on October 7, 2006. Her murder has been linked by some experts to her coverage of human rights abuses in Chechnya.

The five suspects include former police officer Sergei Khadzhikurbanov, Rustam, Ibragim, and Dzhabrail Makhmudov, and their uncle Lom-Ali Gaitukayev. The investigators believe that Rustam Makhmudov committed the murder with the help of his brothers Ibragim and Dzhabrail, their uncle, and Khadzhikurbanov.
