MOSCOW, April 1 (RAPSI) - Legal Department of the Presidential Administration has approved a bill on daylight savings time reverse, Sergei Kalashnikov, one of the initiative's authors and head of the committee for Health, told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

On April 15, the committee will recommend the State Duma to adopt the bill in the first reading, Kalashnikov said. Earlier, Vladimir Gutenyov, first deputy head of the Duma's Industry Committee, forwarded for the lower house’s review another bill on return to a system of the seasonal time adjusting.

According to Kalashnikov, these two bills will be considered alternatively.  In June, the Russian Supreme Court ruled against cancelling daylight saving time during winter months in Russia.

Summer time is now observed in Russia all year round, since the winter transition was abolished in 2011. The current time scale is two hours ahead of astronomical hours. The switch became controversial in Russia, with many people complaining about chronic lack of sleep and fatigue.
