MOSCOW, June 2 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Intellectual Property Court has granted a request by Australian footwear company EMU to dismiss a suit seeking early termination of legal protection of a trademark which had been registered by a Moscow-based company.

Emu Ridge Holdings Pty Ltd initially filed a petition for the early termination of the logo protection for a logo belonging to FDP United Consultants as FDP had not used it in three years. The related products are a Class 25 product (clothes, shoes, headgear) in the International (Nice) Classification of Goods and Services.

The court included the Russian Federal Patent Service (Rospatent) as a third party in the lawsuit.

FDP United Consultants provides services in budget management system development.
