MOSCOW , August 5 (RAPSI, Diana Gutsul) – The Moscow City Court has extended until October 5 the detention of Ukrainian national Yury Soloshenko who stands charged with espionage, the court told RAPSI on Wednesday.
The court therefore granted a motion filed by investigators seeking to extend the detention of Soloshenko for two months.
Before his arrest last summer Soloshenko reportedly was a director of Ukraine's defense enterprise Znamya.
The details are not yet known because the case materials are confidential and the hearings are held behind closed doors.
