MOSCOW, February 1 (RAPSI) – Italian company Saipem has filed with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris a lawsuit against Gazprom subsidiary, South Stream Transport B.V., over losses caused by cancellation of contract, RIA Novosti reported on Monday.

Saipem S.p.A. is a subsidiary of an Italian oil and gas corporation ENI.

The company was involved with “South Stream” until the project was abandoned in December 2014. Saipem claims that losses over contract’s cancellation estimate 759 million euro. This lawsuit may be merged with another similar cases related to cancellation of “South Stream”.
