MOSCOW, July 12 (RAPSI) – The Presnensky District Court of Moscow has detained a U.S. national George Hager until July 25 in a fraud case, RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday.

According to the press-secretary of the court, Anastasia Pyleva, two other people allegedly involved in the case, Minkail Umayev and Fanil Sabiryanov, have also been detained.

Umayev has already appealed his detention.

Earlier the Kommersant newspaper wrote that detainees impersonated officials and tried to organize appointments to high-ranking positions in the Federal Agency for Fishery for $7 million.
