MOSCOW, June 5 (RAPSI) – The Moscow Commercial Court has recovered 587 million rubles (about $10.3 million) from the Moscow municipal property department in favor of Gazprom Energoholding, a subsidiary of the gas giant Gazprom, RAPSI learnt in the court on Monday.

The case documents read that the department issued an order to sell shares of the Moscow United Energy Corporation, belonging to the Moscow city, as well as the city’s property, including real estate, rented by the corporation. As a result, Gazprom Energoholding signed the contract with Moscow authorities over privatization of several objects.

However, 175 objects of property, evaluated as high as 587 million rubles could not be transferred to Gazprom Energoholding because the Moscow city had no property rights over them causing the company to file a lawsuit.
