VTB bank demands $6.4 mln from Winter Olympic Sports Association
MOSCOW, July 5 (RAPSI) - VTB bank has lodged a claim with the Moscow Commercial Court seeking to collect 3.8 billion rubles ($63.4 million) from the Winter Olympic Sports All-Russian Association, according to court records.
The hearing date has not been scheduled yet.
In January, VTB bank announced intention to file a bankruptcy petition against the Association over its outstanding debt.
The Association includes different All-Russian non-governmental Winter Olympic Sports organizations. The main purposes of the Association are contribution to operating the national sports policy toward the development of mass sports in Russia, and enhancement of the role of regional sports and sports for children and young people.
