MOSCOW, July 19 (RAPSI, Lyudmila Klenko) – Ex-head of the Kerch city’s administration, Sergey Pisarev, has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for receiving a $50,000 bribe, the Russian Investigative Committee’s press service reported Wednesday.

Additionally, he was fined 6.4 million rubles ($108,300), the statement reads.

Pisarev has received a bribe for assistance in signing contracts by the city’s administration on land plots’ rent and sale, the Crimean Prosecutor’s Office announced earlier. He was arrested immediately after taking the money.
