MOSCOW, August 14 (RAPSI, Yelizaveta Ponomareva) – Alleged members of a criminal group have been arrested in the Moscow Region on suspicion of supplying 136 kg of drugs from the European Union (EU) to Russia, the Federal Security Service’s (FSB) press service reports Monday.

The suspects were caught in flagrante during delivering a large lot of cannabis. The drugs were seized. Alleged gang members are citizens of several countries, the statement reads.

A criminal case was opened over illegal production, sale and transportation of drugs, psychoactive substances or their analogues, and drug-containing crops.

The suspects have been put in detention.
