MOSCOW, December 14 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court has upheld detention of Magomed Ismailov, one of the defendants in a criminal case over shooting at the Moscow International Business Centre (MIBC), also known as Moscow-City, the court’s press-service has told RAPSI.

Ismailov, charged with hooliganism, is to stay in detention until January 18.

The second defendant Eldar Khamidov is charged with attempted murder of two or more persons and will stay in jail as well.

Investigators claim that the incident took place on November 17 after a conflict between guards of two business center’s visitors. As a result, six persons received gunshot wounds.

According to media reports, the fight with shooting took place in Crystal Ballroom restaurant after a quarrel at the parking lot.
