MOSCOW, July 5 (RAPSI) – Russia’s largest bank Sberbank has filed a bankruptcy claim against Asteros company, an IT contractor for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia, the Moscow Commercial Court’s ruling reads.

The claim will be reviewed on September 28.

Earlier, the court scheduled hearings on a bankruptcy claim filed against Asteros by Aeronavigator company for July 11. Moreover, on June 1, the court postponed hearings on a bankruptcy claim filed by Asteros itself.

Asteros is also a defendant in several lawsuits filed by various organizations.

On April 13, the court returned a 937.9 million-ruble (about $14.6 million) lawsuit filed against Asteros company back to the Luzhniki Sports Complex.

In March, Russian Narodny Bank lodged a claim seeking to collect 252.7 million rubles ($4.3 million) from the IT company.

The safety concept for one of Russia’s largest sports complexes Luzhniki along with its “clean zone” inside the object were developed by Asteros.
