One more defendant in the case is another ex-deputy of Shaikov, Andrey Krasnyukov. He was put on the federal wanted list as he had absconded the investigative authorities.

According to investigation, the defendants conspired to secure an auction victory for the Federal Unitary Enterprise Atlas and concluded with the organization a state government contract on supplies of 1,500 personal computer packages worth over 160 million rubles ($2.4 million) for the penal system in 2015.

The defendants caused damage to the state budget, the Investigative Committee said. However, an exact amount of damage was not specified.
