MOSCOW, December 17 (RAPSI) – The Lyublinsky District Court of Moscow has put on hold a defamation lawsuit filed by the Russian National Guard Director Victor Zolotov seeking one million rubles ($15,000) from opposition politician Alexey Navalny, the press-service of the court has told RAPSI.

According to the court’s press-service, the lawsuit was filed incorrectly.

A lawyer representing Zolotov said that the claim is related to seven online articles as well as videos accusing the official of various crimes, including protection of people behind the murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov and alleged corruption violations on behalf of Zolotov himself.
