MOSCOW, January 28 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Justice Ministry is drafting a bill releasing individuals from release from responsibility for corruption offences in certain cases. The notification of the document development has been published on the official website of draft laws and regulations.

Amendments would be proposed to the anticorruption law.

Under the bill, an individual would be released from liability if omission to observe restrictions, bans, requirements to prevent or settle competing interests as well as failure to execute duties set to combat corruption have been resulted from external circumstances making their observance and execution impossible.

The objectiveness of circumstances would be established by a commission on compliance with the requirements to official conduct and clearing of conflict of interest.
