MOSCOW, March 25 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Sherbinsky District Court will consider a lawsuit filed by the Moscow transregional transport prosecutor's office against Pobeda air carrier over weapon carriage regulations on April 12, RAPSI reports from the courtroom.

According to case papers, starting January 1, 2018, Pobeda stopped providing services of transporting firearms and ammunition. Prosecutors ask the court to declare the imposed weapon carriage ban illegal.

Earlier, the Moscow transregional transport prosecutor's office made a protest against the ban. However, the airline failed to rectify violations discovered thereby prompting prosecutors to turn to court.

Currently, one more lawsuit of the Moscow transregional transport prosecutor's office against Pobeda is pending in the Sherbinsky District Court. The plaintiff demands to declare the air carrier’s decision on paid registration for clients established illegal.
