MOSCOW, June 25 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s prosecutors will take the investigation into a criminal case over serial poisoning and robbing people in the city center under control, the spokesperson of the local prosecutor’s office Lyudmila Nefedova has told RAPSI.

The investigation’s results will be supervised as well as actions of the law enforcement bodies in relation to the occurrence of poisoning.

Earlier, police arrested a 26-year-old native of Russia’s Kabardino Balkariya Murat Sabanov, who has allegedly committed the crimes in Moscow since May.

As previously reported, over 20 young adults disguised with drink became victims of poisoning and robbing in central Moscow. The suspect wined them with cold drinks which caused the loss of consciousness and then robbed the victims.
