MOSCOW, October 30 (RAPSI) - The Supreme Court of Russia has upheld sentence delivered by a lower court in a case against a national socialist gang organized by a former policeman and MMA fighter Nikita Fedonenko in the city of Omsk, RAPSI has learnt from the court’s press service.

In April, a court in Omsk sentenced Fedonenko and his three accomplices to prison terms ranging from 6 to 18 years, but one defendant avoided liability due to the expiry of the period of limitation.

In 2016, Fedonenko and his accomplices committed a range of cruel attacks against persons of Caucasus and Central Asia descent. As a result of the crimes, several victims were inflicted grievous bodily harm; and on Armenian-born businessman died.
