MOSCOW, December 4 (RAPSI) – Investigators have completed probe into a commercial bribery case against ex-deputy CEO of Russia's largest space company Energia Alexey Beloborodov, the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to the investigation, Beloborodov, realizing his criminal plan, demanded over 31 million rubles, 10% of payment under a contract, from a contract partner’s representative for further signing of all acceptance-transfer reports and protection in other matters.

Initially, the case was opened over fraud by later reclassified.

The defendant pleads not guilty.

Earlier, investigators seized about 500,000 rubles ($7,400) in marked bills from Beloborodov.

According to investigators, the marked bills were previously transferred to one of Beloborodov’s subordinates as part of a special operation conducted by the Federal Security Service (FSB). During the searches 28,000 euros were found as well.
