Probe opened into beating journalist in Russia’s Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area
MOSCOW, February 3 (RAPSI) – Investigation has been initiated over battering a journalist in Surgut, a city in Russia’s Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, according to a news release of the Investigative Committee.
The case is opened over intended infliction of bodily harm, the statement reads.
According to investigators, on January 24, employees of one of the city’s auto impounds used force against a local TV reporter, who wanted to have an interview with them.
Investigation is underway.
